American experimental musician. Parkins’ primary instrument is the harp, but she also plays piano and accordion. Her work ranges from solo performances to large ensembles, touching on free improvisation, jazz, rock, field recordings and Foley. She has worked with many experimental musicians, video artists and choreographers. I don’t care. People were doing this before her. She’s stuck and her appeal is so limited.
