Modern Kiwi rock three-piece who play retro-styled guitar rock influenced by the “Psychedelic 60s, Late 70s Manchester, 80s New York, the dirty old 90s and a spread of the Noughtys”. Three punchfaces in one band… Intentionally or not, Thought Creature really wear their influences on their sleeve. This is real backwards-looking, cliche-driven rock music that might sound good at a crap festival. Of course they want “more 7 inches”… Worst lyrics. It’s funny that they usually sing in couplets… Rock ‘n’ rooooll!
