San Francisco post-rock group formed in 1995 whose music combines big percussion with drone, noise and guitar. Originally a fairly standard guitar-bass-drums post-rock group, their more recent music is much more expansive and improvisational. All members have various solo projects. Much as I really, really love Tarentel (particularly Ghetto Beats…), I can also totally see them from the perspective of being just another band.
