Chilean-German minimal techno/microhouse DJ. He was born in Chile and moved to Germany in 1973 to escape the Pinochet dictatorship. He began playing music at parties at university, just for fun. At the end of 2008, he came 1st in Resident Advisor’s Top 100 DJs of 2008. I don’t really care. That music is so absorbing and exciting. Danger! People say it’s more ‘intelligent’ than straight house or whatever, but the difference is pretty marginal outside of audio editing software. I don’t want to get dragged into minimal techno mongheadedness!
