2007 Spanish zombie film, filmed on location and with some authentic cast reaction shots. The film updates the zombie genre into the shakey-camera fake documentary style popularised by The Blair Witch Project. It was very well-received, and credited with refreshing the genre. I don’t like the way that the film adopts the ‘home movie’ style, but doesn’t commit to it – there are illogical camera angles, fake digital film deterioration etc. This might be a decent zombie film, but it’s not particularly important. I might watch it one day, but I won’t include it.
