Four-piece Baltimore “art rock” band formed in 2005 by Deerhoof founding member Dustin Wong. Their sound was full and abrasive, with a unique singing style from Molly Siegel involving all sorts of mouth sounds and nonsense lyrics. They broke up in 2011.
What a racket! They’re often compared to Deerhoof because of Wong but it’s a much less accessible, less friendly sound. The whole non-language thing doesn’t seem to be done for any particular point or reason.. It’s quite difficult, I can’t really be bothered and I don’t think anyone will consider this a glaring exclusion…
