Craze toy from the mid-80s, Madballs were satisfyingly ergonomic balls with grotesque faces. It played on the gross-out humour that was popular in toys of that era. The most popular was, apparently, Oculus Orbus. Although these toys are really cool looking, and pretty funny, they’re just crappy plastic really, and don’t even work that well as balls (deliberately missing the point).
