Experimental dance alter-ego of Michael Kelley, a violist with the Apple Hill Chamber Players. Kelley Polar’s music is disco-influenced and vocal-heavy, sometimes with unexpectedly dark lyrics for dance records. He sometimes uses his viola on his Polar releases. A lot of fuss has been made about the fact that Kelley is classically trained AND A DANCE PRODUCER. OMG. Good for him.
