The “Time Lady”. American voice actress and singer, and the second voice of the Bell System. She became a voice actress after her embarrassment about her poor spelling led to her reading out her first commercial as a copywriter rather than submit it in writing. She learned a perfect Australian accent in order to provide time and temperature messages in Australia too. I don’t know how I could include this, even if I wanted to. Still, it’s sort of interesting.
