One of the great British actors. He started acting for fun, having been educated in architecture at Cambridge. He was a cat lover, and wrote and illustrated a book about them with his first wife Pamela Mason, called ‘The Cats In Our Lives’. I particularly like James Mason as Lord Nemo in the Disney ’20,000 Leagues Under The Sea’, and it would be kind of fun to include the cat book, but I don’t think either thing is enough.
