1965 horror film. The film is shot in black and white, and performed entirely in Esperanto, for an otherworldly feeling. The film was lost for many years after the original print was destroyed in a fire. One copy, with burned-in French subtitles, was found and released on DVD in 2001. The film has a cult following, though many Esperanto speakers are disappointed by the actors’ pronunciation.
This isn’t of much interest to me. The plot is unremarkable, and I have no loyalty to the Esperanto cause, so have no problem dismissing this.
