Czech animator who made many short films between 1928 and 1986 before her death in 1993. Sadly, it is difficult to find English-language information about this filmmaker but the work of hers that I have seen has been absolutely mind-blowing. She seems to work in many different styles, but all retain a magical domestic atmosphere and uncompromising spirit. I want to find a Czech-speaker to tell me more and I want someone to release a compilation DVD.
