Brighton-based collaboration band of Keris Howard and Laura Bridge that played melancholic indie rock on guitar, keyboards and sometimes drums. The duo released one album, ‘Go Back To Bed’, in 2001. I really don’t understand how this band got people so excited. To me, it’s mopey “sadcore” (yech) on the most flimsy, tear-soluble guitar and girl/boy vocal cliche. There’s a song on the album called ‘Dry Land’ in which the band sing, “is this all I have to give”. No it’s not.
