Publisher and explorer, but most notably husband to Amelia Earhart, and promoter of the Earhart ‘brand’… Although undoubtedly a talented man in his chosen field, I don’t feel inclined to include Putnam at all. A photo of the couple shows Putnam holding Earhart down. It seems apt.
