American rockabilly/roots musician best known as one-half of seminal two-piece rockabilly group Flat Duo Jets, with Chris Smith. He currently fronts the Dex Romweber Duo with his sister Sara. I don’t want to include any of this revivalist stuff. If people love the old roots music so much, it makes more sense to me for them to spend time making sure it doesn’t fall out of public consciousness and recorded music history – reissuing old 45s and stressing the importance of those old recordings. The original context is so important.
