Blood Chit
Guy Lochhead, 21/05/10
A blood chit is English slang for a document carried by service personnel promising a reward for the safe return of its bearer to the nearest army base. It is written in many different languages, to enable communication with as wide a range of people as possible. Be sure to include a blood chit in the first character’s uniform. It will be interesting to decide which languages to write the message in… ‘Blood chit’ sounds so gross.
