Minnesotan cartoonist whose work is characterised by a softly geometric drawing and crosshatching style and gently political messages, particularly regarding the environment and car usage. He makes his comics free to non-profits working against cars. His most famous series is ‘No Exit’.
Some of Singer’s comics are on-point (I particularly like the one about “congressional spending gridlock”) but others come across as smug, dry, rushed or just weak. He says on his website that he tries to put up fourteen new comics a month. Perhaps this is too many?
