A five/three-woman noise ‘gang’ from Ohio who put on an intense live set and record for Gameboy Recordings. They’re best known for ‘Bury Me Deep’, a concept album that mirrors Christopher Pike’s teen horror book of the same name. 16 Bitch Pile-Up may have the greatest band name ever. They have a fantastic logo. They make droney light-hearted noise that doesn’t fair that well on record, especially not across such an intimidating discography. It’s probably pretty great live though. The band is a nice change from very serious, largely male, noise acts, but it’s not worth including.
